I was so sad upon hearing the news from my friend that their church was vandalized over the weekend. Just by looking at the video (uploaded on Facebook) and the pictures, one can see that the people behind this crime was filled with so much hatred. They did everything they could to destroy. Thank God, burning wasn't one of those. Still, this is such a heartbreaking experience to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
So here I pray: Father in heaven, Creator of heaven and Earth, we praise you for all the good things that you do. Thank you for all the blessings that you have poured upon us. This day Father, we pray for our fellow brothers and sisters of Valley Memorial Baptist Church that you strengthen them at this very moment. We understand that it is so easy to have hatred towards those who did the crime, but we pray Father that you may remind them every time that love conquers all. Lord Jesus Christ, I pray for the healing of the wounds in their hearts caused by the cruel events in their place. Holy Spirit, we pray for you to come and touch those who did such mayhem and lead them to salvation in Jesus Christ. We also pray that they may willingly surrender to the authorities. All of this we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
